The rally has again proved that markets thrive on certainty and clarity.”

The whole of Malaysia is gearing up for GE15 on 19 Nov 2022, in which Malaysians will cast their votes to elect the new MPs and subsequently see the formation of a new government for the next five years.

For now, markets have come out with different predictions and plausible outcomes. Whatever the outcome, capital markets thrive on certainty and predictability. Investors, both local and foreign, also prefer the certainty and predictability of policies. Minority shareholders would have made their informed investment decisions.
